Eidengard
Eidengard
Realm of Oaths and Old Stones
Eidengard is a proud and ancient kingdom located in the heart of Alkainos, known for its deep-rooted traditions, provincial structure, and rugged natural beauty. Inspired by the culture and architecture of 16th-century Germany, Eidengard is a land of stone keeps, misty forests, and isolated mountain peaks that rise like sentinels above wide, fertile plains. Once a borderland of the fallen Valcorin Empire, it now stands as a sovereign realm with its own noble houses, faiths, and lore.
Divided into several semi-autonomous provinces—such as Aurenmark, the seat of royal power, and Alzbrück, an alpine cultural hub—Eidengard is bound together by ancient oaths, shared language, and the enduring influence of Valacian, the common tongue. Though magic is rare and often feared, whispers of the divine and the forbidden still linger in its shadowy woods and forgotten ruins.
